Welcome to CITWeb!

The Computer Information Technology Web site (or CITWeb) is home to information that you may find very useful, especially if you are either:

  • A current Student in CIT, or
  • A member of the Advisory Committee

Here, you'll find information on services we offer to students, such as FREE Microsoft Software, Oracle for home-use, off-campus access to on-campus services, and more! You can also find contact information for your instructors, program staff, school chair, etc.

If you are an Advisory Committee member, you will find an archive of the minutes from meetings past, as well as the current agenda, and contact information for your fellow committee members.

Minimum recommended computer specs:

The CIT Program at Lethbridge Polytechnic is typically delivered in a blended format and students are encouraged to have their own equipment. The minimum, recommended specs that mostly match our lab environment:

• Windows 11
• Intel Core i5 (or better), or equivalent AMD
• 16GB RAM (or more!)
• 500GB solid-state hard drive (or larger!)
• a camera and a microphone could be useful for online meetings (optional).

As a student, you will have access to our lab computers on campus (as needed), and to a suite of development tools that we typically use. You can expect that this collection of software will take up to 150GB of free space on your drive.
